Transport
Every celebration requires the services of additional private vehicles to transport family and close relatives to the church and to the reception venue. The bride and the groom usually opt for a grand white car. The most popular premium cars are the Lancer, Mercedes, and Opel, and the most common cars are the Cielo, Esteem, Contessa, etc. For family members, one can usually opt for a Toyota Qualis, a Tata Sumo, or a Scorpio.
How to Choose ?
-
Based on number of invitees
Should there be a large number of relatives from outstation you could opt for a mini bus, a larger bus or a Volvo.
-
Based on price
You are charged on the basis of time and mileage. The rates are applicable for hours or kms. whichever is lesser. If the vehicle is used for more than the given time or kms, you are charged extra accordingly. The time and mileage computed varies. Some couples who book expensive cars, leave the car as soon as they reach the hall. It is not necessary to pay a high premium for the wedding car just to park in your reception venue.
Do's and Don'ts
-
Book the vehicles priorly.
Make sure you book your wedding car at least two months before the wedding. Other vehicles and buses are easily available on short notice (except during peak season).
-
Wedding car should be used only for transporting the bridal couple
The wedding car should be used only for transporting the bridal couple. It should not be used for any other purpose e.g. transporting the relatives etc.,

Good escort plans
If you have number of trips back and forth to the wedding hall or to the church, ensure the Best man or the Escort plans the trips well. It is advisable for the Best man or the Escort to note down the kilometer reading on arrival and departure.

Check the vehicle is cleaned and presentable when it arrives on your wedding day
Ask the car provider what decorations can be used on the car.

Read the contract carefully before paying a deposit
Make sure the date, times, locations (addresses) and the specific vehicle you want are explicitly stated on your contract
-
Carry some beverages in your vehicle, bottled water or soft drinks
-
Do not leave any valuables, gifts or personal belongings in your car, even though your chauffeur may be around
